They have not been updated at Free-DC for several days at least. I stopped crunching here because my stats aren't going up.

TIA, Steve THAT would be really nice!!! Crunching is partly for the stats, when they don't get exported to the stats sites it can be a pain to compare users to one another.

5) Message boards : Problems and Bug Reports : 'User aborted' (Message 113003) Posted 17 Jun 2014 by mikey Post: I've unhidden them for you. The server seems to think my i7-3770 suddenly lost its HD 4000(?), aborted my WUs, and set them to 'User aborted'. It should be server aborted and for no -valid- reason at all. Sometimes the error codes use the Microsoft thinking and not common sense, kind of like the 'blue screen of death' when it says 'your pc has crashed' YA THINK MAYBE!! Don't worry about it, it just means the unit needs to be sent to someone else for crunching to the Server.

I have a Albert account on the Boinc Manager on this host but when I tried to go to Albert and sign in it said I didn't have an account (even though it has been on this pc for a few years) So just now I had to "join" using the same name and email address just to log in to ask about this here. Why do you suppose this happened? Was there an update to this website? This is my original account http://albert.phys.uwm.edu/show_user.php?userid=8016 from 2005 And of course I am on the new version. No big deal......just wondering. I don't know but there is a code in one of your Boinc files that should NEVER be posted but CAN be used to log in with if you are having problems. I don't see mine right now so can't tell you where it is but it was in a Boinc file and is like a 20 digit long sequence unique to you. On the web under Your Account it is called Account Key, there is a weak and a full access one. You CAN use the full access one to log in with instead of a username and password.

For Windows and Linux, 7.0.25 won't do. But now 7.0.28 is the officially recommended version. Sorry for the confusion. HB I only use Windows so that is true for me.

One other thing..the NEWEST project requirements are "* BOINC 7.0.27 (and newer)". I found it in the News section. We lowered that to 7.0.25 for the time being as newer versions had some problems detection OpenCL cards. CU HB The program doesn't think so...I JUST attached to Albert with another of my pc's and got a message saying that my version of 7.0.25 was insufficient, I upgraded to version 7.0.28 and it downloaded a new unit just fine. Of course the message is gone now! Okay I just attached from another pc and got his: "7/7/2012 7:52:23 AM \| Albert@Home \| Message from server: Newer BOINC version required; please install current version"! This pc too is on version 7.0.25. In the Notices area of Boinc I got two new notices, one saying you have a new BRP and one saying I must upgrade to a newer version of Boinc. The Project IS attached but NO units were downloaded, if I upgrade to 7.0.28 one new unit WILL download and be ready to run! So somehow the Server isn't doing what it is supposed to do. I know you are going to ask so here is the FIRST line of my latest pc, Backup2 to me: "6/14/2012 3:26:54 AM \| \| Starting BOINC client version 7.0.25 for windows_x86_64" and here is the offending line: "7/7/2012 7:52:23 AM \| Albert@Home \| Message from server: Newer BOINC version required; please install current version" NO the pc has NOT been restarted since June 14th. The pc is a Boinc ONLY machine, as are most of mine.
