Now everything runs smoothly and without "validate error" problems, on both Nvidia GTX560, AMD HD 7970 and different CPUs (Phenom II X4, i5 Ivy and i7 Lynnfield).
I hope we can test production version of FGRP #3 soon (I mean "real" samples with full GPU load).

My host https://albert.phys.uwm.edu/results.php?hostid=9923 (GTX 560 non OC'd with 301.42 driver, i7 860 @2.8Ghz) calculated 29 FGRP#3 FGRPopencl-nvidia tasks with av. of 650 sec of Run/CPU time (A@H was the only project being calculated at that time). All WUs finished without error, but 23 of them validated so far as "Validate error" and 6 are still pending. Can you take a look into these results?

Yep, all my invalid WUs are coming from "Gravitational Wave S6 LineVeto search (extended) v1.04 (SSE2)" running on Xeon E5620 CPUs (8 invalid / 674 valid / 532 pending).
It seems to be Xeon-related problem.

And I'm over 200 k credits/day in Albert, which is (a little) crazy for CPU-only crunching. I was barely able to hit 25 k credits/day in Leiden@home lately.

In my opinion Gamma-ray WUs give too much credits/WU (ca. 7 times).
On one computer:
Gravitational Wave S6 LineVeto search (extended) v1.01 (SSE2) - 0.013 cred/sec
Binary Radio Pulsar Search v1.30 - 0.013 cred/sec
Gamma-ray pulsar search #2 v0.01 - 0.088 cred/sec.

Cheers

There seem to be a problem with downloading and uploading of WUs (not all of my machines are influenced so far):

2012-12-15 18:56:32 | Albert@Home | Sending scheduler request: To report completed tasks.
2012-12-15 18:56:32 | Albert@Home | Reporting 6 completed tasks, requesting new tasks for CPU

Hello!

It looks like we've run out of samples to crunch. Now I get only resents.
There are also some serious problems with a few WUs, they all end with a "Validate error" http://albert.phys.uwm.edu/workunit.php?wuid=138296

Do you really think it is necessary to set the "max # of error" so high (20)?

Regards!
Luke

Hi!

I crunched some BRP CPU WUs on my core i5-3450 @3.10 GHz (Win7, 64b). Here are the results:

- einsteinbinary_BRP4_1.30_windows_x86_64 - 21654 s (+/-324 s, N=14)
- einsteinbinary_BRP4_1.22_windows_intelx86__BRP4SSE - 26739 s (+/- 546 s, N=14)

I hope I'm not comparing apples and oranges, but it seems to be a ca. 19% improvement.

There were no problems during the crunching process, everything went smoothly.

Bye!
Luke
