My Galaxy S2 needed 102h for the first one, a v1.02, for some meagre 63 credits. But it gave me the required 100h for bronze in WUProp in a single WU, that's fine ;)

I just reseted the project and got a v1.03 (NEON), and it's now, that's after 1:36h, at 13%. So this one will take about 12h, an more than eightfold decrease in crunch-time!

And this since 4 days...!!!

Well, most of it was a weekend.

Calm down, this is a test project. "Don't expect anything to work here".

Anyway, thanks for the report.

Result file upload should work again, but some (BRP4) daemons might fail with the same problem (so linking error). And yes, the S6LV1 validation etc. is still not working either.

BM

Everything's fine, all uploaded and reported.
I hope you had a nice and peaceful 1st Advent on some Hannover Weihnachtsmarkt ;)

Download is still possible, I just stopped it manually, as my transfer tab is already cluttered with files.
As it's not reporting but uploading that's fucked up, I thought download would be as well impossible, but no.

But UPLOAD no! I have still more then 100 WU waiting to be uploaded!

Just what I said.

I'm still wondering what's fucked the server up that it's able to send WUs but not to receive 'em, I thought it's the same DB.

This one has reached 20 tasks, so it will be invalidated automatically after the next ones comes in:
p2030.20111005.G64.25-00.28.N.b6s0g0.00000_3640
1 waiting for validation (that's me)
1 DL error
1 Abortion by user
1 in progress
16 validate errors

Something completely fucked up with either the validator or lots of WUs.

A link would be fine, how should it be found otherwise?

I've got a question about this ones:
p2030.20111005.G64.25-00.28.N.b6s0g0.00000_2968
p2030.20111005.G64.25-00.28.N.b6s0g0.00000_3784
p2030.20111005.G64.25-00.28.N.b6s0g0.00000_3016
p2030.20111005.G64.25-00.28.N.b6s0g0.00000_3528

All have lots of validate errors, and will probably never be validated if it goes on like that. What's the problem with those buggers?

Post:
There is a workaround available:
place a cc_config.xlm into your boinc data directory

<cc_config>
<options>
<ncpus>5</ncpus>
</options>
</cc_config>

Set the ncpus to a value higher than the nr of real cores.

Not for me, as I'm running SimOne as well, a mt-WU, that doesn't like to be run on less cores than said. I lost one because I had that "solution" set.

Is there any reason for this weird and destructive setting?

Posted 29 Mar 2012 by Profile Saenger
Post:
The WUs proclaim to use a whole CPU (1 CPUs + 1 Nvidia GPUs), while in reality it let's it sit idle and thus hurts other project by depriving them off CPU-power.
Every time one of those lying WUs crunch, my machine doesn't run at 100% power any more:

This doesn't happen with Einstein WUs, that rightly claim only 20% of a CPU.

If that proclamation of the use of a whole CPU to my GPU would be even remotely correct, the crunch-time and the CPU-time should be in about the same range, but if you look at my results, they are not that much different from those at Einstein.
Albert: Ratio 6700/1000 = 6.7
Einstein: Ratio 6000/700 = 8.6

Can you please change the CPU utilisation factor back to normal, i.e. 0.20, maybe 0.3, but not 1.0?

I've got this problem, that occurred twice with me @Einstein here as well. I managed to get the WU reported in the same manner, and I don't have any clues what happened why.

BOINC 6.10 and all of 6.12 don't do OpenCL detection, that's BOINC 6.13 only so far. But 6.13 is far from stable.

No chance to participate here without that buggy stuff?
OK, NNW then.

Edit:
Wron thread, I'll start a new one, sorry.

Would it be possible to export stats for overall BOINC stats sites like http://stats.free-dc.org/ and http://de.boincstats.com/.
At least BoincStats want additionally an explicit confirmation for including your site in the overall statistics.

There should be at least the old credits cleared in this unintentional open project, that imported the data completely some time ago from main E@H

As they are cleared by now, even a bit excessive imho, but so what?, is there an official permission to use the stats?
