I have a similar situation on a mid-2011 iMac--all GPU work units for Collatz in a "Scheduler Wait".

That's the way I read the error as well but didn't want to assume -- also wanted to make sure it was reported in case there was an error in the Work Unit assignment algorithms that should have been able to map work to memory configuration of a specific GPU.

I'll stop processing work and monitor updates for any enhancements that will provide a better match between work units and GPU configuration.

Appear to have completed the first WU successfully:

~8:20:00 of elapsed time. A second work request was made for ATI work and received 47 WUs (more than I really wanted but I'll let it run out as long as there are no major issues).
