.. looks like it's not working.
I've set it to 0.5, but

Nevertheless, if this is working it's the biggest improvement here, I offer any help I can give to get this thing running.

Update

It works now for the nvidia wu's but not for the ati openCL.
The problem was an app_info which was in the einstein directory, it affected the albert wu's as well.

We were testing this feature here for usage on Einstein@Home. Honestly I don't have any idea how an OpenCL App or an ATI card would behave when running more than one task at once.

Hi,

since I do it sometimes at Milkyway, I can tell you, perfect behaviour!
The project has changed his app to openCL some weeks ago. Now both (nVidia and AMD - apps) are openCL, both work fine running more than one task on a card.

Give it a chance, I'll test it for you!

Regards,

Alexander

edit:
just to give an expression how this is done at MW, here is the app_ifo for that:

ATI OpenCL Applications are currently only available for Windows and Linux. I think there is a serious problem with the OpenCL (1.1) App on Mac OS X, that will be fixed with Apple's next system update to Lion.

Update:

We see some improvements in the OSX support, but it's not quite sure yet whether it will be sufficient to be able to have a stable app for Lion or even Mountain Lion together with Linux and Windows. Probably teh OSX app will come later than those for Windows and Linux.

Cheers

The first task which I am running before change to .05 is still showing 1.0
First task was started with setting GPU 1.0
Second task started with setting 0.5

But the other shows running 0.5GPU's

I am running 2tasks simultaniously now.
ATI 5850 CAT 12.3 BM 7.0.26

:)

It uses Both my cores so I have no CPU% left for other tasks.
Windows task manager says each task is using about 20% so if that could be modified to the app, that would be great.
I think SETI Beta is now using some way of <flops> calculation to set the CPU % before tasks is started.
