The Ati-OpenCL wu's are downloaded with an estimated runtime of ~105 hrs, real runtime 2 - 3 hrs
the SSE2 wu's have an initial runtime of ~26 hrs, real runtime ~5 hrs
the correction-factor does not seems to work correct in this project, which results in incorrect cache of wu's when running more than one project. This makes problems when the other project is SETI, which does not have always wu's available.

Does not look like someone is interested in correcting that. My problem is, that work distribution does not work here. I'm running SETI, MW and Albert OpenCL wu's, but most of the time one GPU is idle, needs manual intervention.

Since I don't like to invest in GPU's just to see them staying idle it might be necessary to detach from the project until this issue is solved.

Well, that is not too big a problem. If the estimated time is way off for some machines, BOINC is going to correct the DCF with each wu, so after a couple of units it will become better and better. Sure, it is good if the project is not too far off with their estimate. But that also depends to the machine. For some it is too long, for others it is too short. Some are the lucky ones, they are spot on.

P.S.: And after all, this is a beta test project. So we are not only here to test the apps and report crashes, but also to give the developers a big range of runtimes so they can make better estimates when all this goes over to Einstein.
